A 50 year old man was killed after being struck by a pickup late Tuesday night at 40th and Cuming. Investigators say a 2003 Dodge Ram pickup was westbound on Cuming Street and had the green light when the 35 year old driver struck Aait Subba as he was walking in the marked crosswalk at 40th Street.
Subba was transported to Nebraska Medicine ER where he died just before midnight. Neither speed or alcohol use by the Dodge Ram driver are considered factors.
No citations have been issued and this crash remains under investigation.
