One man is recovering and another is in jail after a Saturday night shooting. Omaha Police were called to 111th and Roxbury Drive, just southwest of 108th and Q, shortly after 7 p.m.
21 year Kollin Hutchinson had already made his way to the hospital for treatment when officers arrived. He is expected to recover.
Officers then found 19 year old Eric Jenkins upstairs in the residence. When they tried to take him into custody police say Jenkins punched a sergeant and kicked at other officers.
Jenkins was subdued and taken to the hospital where he was admitted for a suspected drug overdose. He'll be charged when he's released from the hospital.
The circumstances of the shooting remain under investigation.
