Former Papillion Police Chief Leonard Houloose is being held on a $10,000 bond after he was taken into custody Saturday.
Houloose was booked into the Sarpy County Jail today for DUI, carrying a concealed weapon, violating the open container law and refusal to submit to several tests.
He was arrested by Papillion officers and first taken to a treatment facility before he was transferred to the Sarpy County Jail today.
Houloose retired in 2014 after serving as Papillion's chief for 13 years.
