Bond was set at $500,000 Wednesday morning for a woman accused of shooting and killing a fifteen year old high school student over the weekend.
Authorities say Catessa Barnum shot Shadaisja Hill early Saturday morning while the teen sat in her mother's car near 36th and Lake. Hill was critically wounded in the shooting and declared brain dead at the hospital, but remained on life support in order to donate her organs. She was taken off of life support on Tuesday.
Barnum is being held at Douglas County Corrections on charges of First Degree Felony Assault and Use of a Weapon to Commit a Felony.
