Omaha Police have released photos of a vehicle they believe was driven by the suspect in the Monday afternoon shooting of a truck driver.
Investigators believe the vehicle is a late 90's or early 2000's Chevy Silverado extended cab. They say the color appears to be tan, beige, or pewter, and may have damage in front of the rear, driver's side wheel.
Officers responded to the intersection of 60th and L just after 4:30 p.m. and found 32 year old James Womack suffering from gunshot wounds. He was rushed to the hospital from the scene with CPR in progress and later died from his injuries.
Family members say Womack was an Army veteran and leaves behind three children. One of his daughters celebrated a birthday on Monday. Womack is a former Staff Sergeant who did three tours in Iraq.
You can see photos of the vehicle below and anyone with information is asked to call Crime Stoppers at 444-STOP.
