The Lancaster County Sheriff's Office has arrested a man who may be linked to over 30 burglaries in Lincoln.
Tuesday morning deputies carried out a search warrant at a home near 56th and Mill Road and took 32 year old Travis Duffek into custody. During the search, deputies found over 200 stolen items in the home and garage including construction equipment, trailers and power tools.
Authorities say a good Samaritan called in a tip about Duffek's suspicious activity, and the arrest wouldn't have been possible without involvement from the community.
With Duffek's arrest, two open Lincoln Police cases were closed and six Sheriff's Office cases were cleared, but Lancaster officials say Duffek could still be linked to 30 other open theft and burglaries cases.
Duffek was cited for a laundry list of theft charges as well as Possession of Methamphetamine. The investigation into Duffek's involvement in any other burglaries continues.
