A Bryan High School student was injured Thursday morning after he was struck by a car outside the school near 47th and Giles.
Bellevue Police Sergeant Brian Miller tells NewsRadio 1110 KFAB the eastbound driver, another Bryan student, was affected by sun glare. He also says the student hit was not in the crosswalk. The injured teen went to the hospital, but is expected to be okay.
Miller says they respond to a number of crashes related to sun glare this time of year. His advice? "Sunglasses, sun visor and take it slow. That's all I can suggest," Miller says.
