Omaha Police are investigating the City's latest murder. Officers responded to a shooting in the area of 18th and Victor Street around 12:30 a.m. Tuesday.
They found 36 year old Robert Vargas suffered from gunshot wounds. Vargas was transported to Nebraska Medical Center and later died from his injuries.
The investigation continues and anyone with information is urged to call the OPD Homicide Unit at 444-5656 or Omaha Crime Stoppers at 444-STOP. Tips leading to the arrest of a homicide suspect are eligible for a $25,000 reward.
