A woman is in serious condition after Bellevue Police say she was stabbed several times Monday afternoon.
Police were called to the Chandler Pointe Apartments near 30th and Kansas around 2:00 after witnesses reported a man was stabbing a woman in the parking lot. She was stabbed several times in her upper body and chest.
26 year old Tyrone Hutchinson suffered a laceration to his hand. Police say Hutchinson was Michelle Bruns-Melgar's boyfriend and father of one of her children. The children were not present during the altercation.
Hutchinson will be charged with attempted 2nd degree murder and use of a deadly weapon to commit a felony.
