Four children are home with their grandmother and legal guardian after Friday's Amber Alert. The children's biological mother, 34 year old Brenda Brummett was taken into custody shortly after the children were located safe.
Brummett was booked on four counts of violation of child custody.
Brummett is accused of taking the four children from their grandmother's vehicle Thursday evening at 37th and J and driving off in a different car. The Amber Alert was issued for the children Friday afternoon.
A tip police led them to 19th and Farnam where the children were located. They were then taken to Project Harmony and questioned before being released to their grandmother.
