Former Habitat For Humanity Director Guilty Of Fraud

A woman who served as the executive director of Habitat for Humanity of Council Bluffs for nine years has admitted to forging a signature on a loan application.

The Iowa Department of Justice says Gina Malloy forged a signature to apply for a $30,000 loan from Windset Capital Corporation three years ago.

The loan application was made in the name of Habitat for Humanity of Council Bluffs. The Department of Justice says the application required a second signature from a Habitat for Humanity member.

Malloy signed the name of a former board member, and used the members name, Social Security Number and a copy of his driver's license.

Malloy admitted she also applied for a U.S. Bank business Visa credit card for Habitat for Humanity around Jan. 13, 2015, using personal data from the same victim.
