The mother of the eight year old boy who was hit by a car on 45th and Grover and died earlier this week is asking for the community's help in burying her son.
Ashley Jones' son Jalen Duncan died on Monday after an eastbound Mini Cooper struck him while he crossed the street after school.
On the GoFundMe page Jones created, she explained that she didn't have any life insurance for the boy and can't afford the cost of burial.
"My family just suffered a tragic loss. My son was hit by a car walking home from school and his life was taken because of that accident. We did not have any insurance and just want to send our love one to his resting place. Anything helps. We are just asking for help from our community. He was a vibrant kid that love school, dancing, basketball, and his siblings. My angel God has taken him home. Thank You for everything!"
