Two teenagers are dead after a train slammed into car at southwest Lincoln rail crossing in Lincoln early Friday morning.
Police say the driver and passenger were 17 years old. They died when an Amtrak train hit their car near south Folsom and west South Street.
Investigators say their southbound car went around the crossing arm and the vehicle was hit by the westbound train around 12:30 a.m.
None of the nearly 300 people on the train were hurt. The names of the teenagers have not been released yet.
