An Omaha man is in critical condition after his bicycle was struck by a car near 65th and Maple around 9:00 Tuesday night.
Omaha Police say a gray 1995 Lexus was eastbound on Maple when the bicycle tried to cross the street from the north to the south. There is no crosswalk where the bicyclist tried to cross.
The front end of the Lexus hit the bike, ridden by 47 year old Christopher Erickson. He was taken to Nebraska Medicine to be treated for a critical head injury, which Police say is potentially life-threatening.
The accident remains under investigation
