Sculpture Honoring Lane Graves Installed At Disney World

The memory of a two year old Omaha boy will live on at Walt Disney World.

Disney unveiled a lighthouse sculpture in honor of Lane Graves, who was killed by an alligator at one of their resorts near Orlando last year.

Graves was drug into the water by the alligator while playing on the beach near the Seven Seas Lagoon at the Grand Floridian Resort and Spa. His body was found sixteen hours later, with his death being ruled an accident.

Graves' death prompted Disney to make changes to ensure the safety of its guests. They've posted signs warning guests of alligators in its waters and constructed a wall along the edge of the lagoon.
