A 37 year old Omaha man was killed in an accident this morning in Harrison County, Iowa. The Harrison County Sheriff's Office responded to an accident in a construction zone on Highway 30 near 180th Street near Woodbine at 8 a.m.
Deputies say a semi driven by 51 year old Bradley Davis of Red Cloud, Nebraska was at a stop sign in the construction zone waiting for a pilot vehicle. His semi was rear-ended by a van driven by Kevin Bright of Omaha. Bright was transported by Woodbine Rescue to the hospital in Missouri Valley where he later died.
There is no word if Davis was injured. Authorities continue to investigate the cause of the accident.
