Man Facing Long List Of Charges After String Of Robberies

Pottawattamie County Sheriff's officials say they've made an arrest in the burglaries of several businesses and four churches in Walnut, Iowa. 

They say 38 year old Jason Anderson is facing a laundry list of charges after several tips from the community led to the recovery of items stolen during recent robberies. 

Anderson is accused of robbing Peace United Church of Christ, First Presbyterian Church, St. Patrick’s Catholic Church, Calvary Baptist Church, The Village Blacksmith Mall, Rusty Farm Girls Primitives, Mabel’s Old-Fashioned Rose and Forget-Me-Nots.

He faces charges of Ongoing Criminal Conduct, nine counts of Third Degree Burglary, Attempted Burglary, three counts of Fourth Degree Theft, two counts of Fifth Degree Theft and two counts of Criminal Mischief.

The Harlan Police Department and Shelby County Sheriff's Department assisted Pottawattamie County in the case.
