Council Bluffs Police are investigating an unusual robbery inside a house near 17th and 3rd Avenue around 1:00 Wednesday afternoon.
They say a 52 year old woman told them she let a woman into her home thinking it was a nurse that was there to check on her.
But once inside, the unknown female reportedly pulled a handgun and pointed it at the victim. The intruder then stole items from the resident and fled the area.
She is described as 30 years old 5'5" and 120 pounds with blond hair pulled into a pony tail. She was wearing blue shorts and a blue hoodie. The victim was not injured.
