Drugs A Factor In Crash That Injured Two Drivers

Omaha Police say drugs were a factor in an Thursday morning crash that shut down 168th Street for three hours.

Officers were dispatched to the accident just after 6:30 near 168th and Patterson.

Authorities say 37 year old Bryan Hall was southbound in a 2005 Ford F-150 and crossed into the northbound lanes of 168th. They say Hall hit a 2015 Toyota Tacoma, driven by 36 year old Kevin Clanton, head on.

Both drivers were wearing their seat belts and were taken to Creighton University Medical Center at Bergan Mercy for treatment. Hall suffered a fractured pelvis and Clanton is being treated for fractures to his leg, arm and abdomen.

Authorities say Hall was under the influence of drugs and has been cited for DUI-Drugs and Willful Reckless Driving.
