Ahman Green Makes Court Appearance

Former Husker standout and Green Bay Packer Ahman Green appeared in a Wisconsin court Monday.

At his court appearance a judge reportedly set a $2,500 signature bond and ordered Ahman not have contact with his daughter or other relatives who were in the home at the time of the alleged incident. Ahman is also not to have any unsupervised contact with minors.

Green was arrested Sunday night after reports say his daughter told police that her dad hit her in the face for not doing the dishes.

A criminal complaint states that Green's daughter told officers she and her dad had been arguing all day about her doing her chores, and that things came to a head just after 11:00.

She claimed Ahman pushed her up against kitchen cabinets and then to the ground before punching her in her eye.

Ahman told a similar story to officers, but said he says he didn't punch her, he "slapped her up side her head."

Green faces one count of Felony Physical Abuse of a Child-Intentionally Causing Bodily Harm and one count of Misdemeanor Disorderly Conduct.

Green is set to appear in court again on July 11th.
