A woman is recovering after being struck by a bullet while walking near the Gene Leahy Mall early Sunday morning.
Officers in the area heard gunshots shortly after 1:30 at 13th and Douglas, on the west end of the mall. They then found 25 year old Taylor Anderson, who suffered an gunshot wound to her leg. The injury is not considered to be life-threatening.
Anderson told police she had been walking in the area and noticed the men exchanging words, then firing shots.
The investigation is continuing and anyone with information is asked to call CrimeStoppers at 444-STOP
