A 30 year old man is behind bars accused of four sexual assaults dating back to March. Detectives with the Omaha Police Special Victims Unit arrested Abdul-Aleem Arthur for two counts of 1st degree sexual assault, two counts of 1st degree sexual assault of a child and 1st degree false imprisonment.
The first assault happened on March 12th. Police say the 15 year old victim was walking in the area of 24th and Ames Ave when Arthur approached her and sexually assaulted her. The second assault happened March 30th at 30th and Fowler. The 26 year old victim met Arthur to purchase drugs when she was sexually assaulted.
Police say on May 17th, a 13 year runaway was approached by Arthur near 28th and Lothrop and offered drugs. The girl was taken to another location where she was sexually assaulted and held against her will. She was able to escape the next morning.
On May 23rd, a 19 year old woman met Arthur on a dating app and agreed to meet him near 36th and Saratoga to use drugs. That woman was also sexually assaulted.
