Tree Drop Off Sites Open In Metro Area

Friday night's severe storms took down trees all across the area.   Several tree debris drop of sites have now been opened across the metro area.

Omaha:   Towl Park at 93 & Center and Ta Ha Zouka Park 905 Elkhorn Drive in Elkhorn.  Hours will be Noon-6 Saturday and 10-6 Sunday.   City employees will be on site to assist.  Proof of Omaha residency will be required.

Bellevue: Old Cedar Island Landfill north of Cornhusker and Cedar Island Road.  Saturday until 10 p.m. and Sunday from 8 a.m. to 10 p.m.

The City Of La Vista has set up a drop off site at the La Vista Sports Complex on 66th Street south of Harrison.  It will be open daily from 7 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. through June 26th.

Papillion residents can drop off storm debris near 99th Circle and Portal Road.  City officials urge residents to use 96th Street to avoid the downtown activities for Papillion Days. 

Springfield: Spruce and Railroad, Main and Railroad and 3rd and poplar.

Sarpy County: Papio-Missouri Natural Resource District Wehrspann Lake, south side of Highway 370 near 158th.
