Baseball Hall Of Fame Comes To Omaha

A celebration of baseball and technology will greet College World Series fans beginning Friday. 

The We Are Baseball Hall of Fame Tour will open to the public  The display features more than 40 items on loan from the Major League Baseball Hall of Fame in Cooperstown, including Babe Ruth's last homerun ball, Harry Carray's glasses, Jackie Robinson's 1955 World Championship cap and the mitt Yogi Berra used to catch Don Larsen's perfect game.

There are a number of baseballs, cleets, uniforms and bats as well.  Using virtual reality technology, fans will be able to experience the 2016 Chicago Cubs World Series parade and take part in a homerun derby.   Fans can make their own Hall of Fame plaque and put themselves into some of baseball's most iconic moments and share the selfie with friends.

 Guests also will be able to visit a 150-seat IMAX theater, which will show a film chronicling baseball’s past, present and future.

Tickets are $17 for adults and $5 for kids 5-17 years old.  The Hall of Fame Tour will be located in the CenturyLink Center convention hall and will be open daily 10 a.m. — 7 p.m. through June 28th.
