The CEO of Omaha based HDR announced his retirement on Wednesday after 27 years with the architectural and engineering company.
George Little made the announcement at the quarterly all-employee meeting. He will step aside at the end of the year after 27 years with the company.
In a statement, Little said he has "accomplished more than I could have hoped for in my career with HDR. Little says this felt like the right time to transition to new leadership.
"We recently refreshed our brand, transitioned into a modern enterprise business system and our new corporate headquarters is underway. Most importantly, our financials are strong as is our employee ownership model."
Little says he met with the Board of Directors at the end of May and informed them of his decision.
