Wounded Man Drives To Convenience Store After Shooting

Omaha Police are sorting out the details after a man was shot and critically wounded just before 1:00 Thursday afrernoon.

Police were called to a convenience store at 42nd and Ames Avenue where 31 year old Jabari Liggins was found.  Lt. Kara Starlin says Liggins was reportedly shot somewhere near 41st and Kansas and drove himself to the store.

Starlin says several people assisted Liggins until paramedics arrived.  He was rushed to the hospital where he underwent surgery.

Police are still trying to identify suspects and find out exactly where the shooting happened.
