An 18 year old is being held without bond after being charged with 1st degree murder today. Allana Smith is accused of shooting and killing 21 year old Brandon White Wednesday night near 39th and Redick Avenue. Smith turned herself in to police early this morning.
Prosecutors say that Smith, 15 year old Olivia Cribbs and 16 year old Larquan Porter met White to make a drug deal. That meeting turned into a robbery and authorities say Smith is the one who fired three shots hitting White around 8:15 p.m. White was rushed to a hospital where he later died.
Cribbs and Porter remain behind bars at the Douglas County Youth Center and were booked on 1st degree murder charges.
