The Sarpy County Sheriff's Department says a man involved in a motorcycle accident Monday afternoon on Highway 370 and 174th street has died.
They say 75 year old Robert Swanson was driving a three-wheeled Harley Davidson motorcycle on westbound 370 just before 4:00.
Witnesses told deputies that a back tire fell off the bike causing Swanson lose control.
Authorities say he crossed the median and both eastbound lanes on 370, before crashing into a ditch. Swanson was thrown from the motorcycle.
He was taken to Nebraska Medicine in critical condition. Swanson later died from his injuries.
The accident is still under investigation.
