Rollover Crash Shakes Up Omaha Neighborhood

No one was injured after a hit and run crash at 56th and Blondo around 11:00 Friday morning.  Madelyn Lasovitch heard the screeching tires from her house and then the crash.

She tells NewsRadio 1110 KFAB she saw the driver that caused the crash continue on, run a curb and knock down a sign before driving a couple of blocks.  That's where Omaha Police found him and put him in handcuffs.

The car that was struck ended up on it's side in the front yard of a house.  Lasovitch says when she came outside she heard the woman in the vehicle crying for help and called 911.

Seeing and hearing what happened rattled the mother of a young daughter.  "That somebody's front yard, She says.  "We could have been out in the front yard playing.  That's just really scary."  No word yet on what charges the man is facing
