Omaha Police say a 17 year old was shot during a robbery and failed drug deal late Saturday night at an apartment complex near 106th and Birch Plaza.
Police were called around 11:20 p.m. and found Christopher Ward with a gunshot wound. He was taken to the hospital and is expected to survive. Police say the shooting happened during a drug deal and attempted robbery.
Officers found drugs and paraphernalia inside the apartment and arrested 19 year old Jaylon Beebee and 20 year old Paige Bailey for possession with intent to deliver marijuana, possession with intent to deliver a controlled substance, possession of cocaine, possession of drug equipment and possession of a short shotgun.
The shooting suspects were described at two Hispanic males in their teens or 20s. They have not yet been found.
