Omaha Police say a man who was shot early Thursday morning near 65th and Ames Avenue has died. He is identified as 29 year old Brandon Mutum.
Officers were called to an apartment complex around 3 a.m. and found Mutum suffering from gunshot wounds. He was transported to the hospital and later died.
Police have not said if any arrests have been made and the circumstances of the shooting are under investigation.
