Man Injured In Home Invasion

Omaha Police are looking for four people in connection with a Wednesday morning home invasion.

The victim, 50 year old John Lisenby, told police he knew at least one of the suspects that stormed into his house near 38th and Jones around 12:30.

Lisenby told officers that he heard a knock on the door and when he opened it a woman and three men forced their way in and demanded money. He says at least one of the suspects was armed with a handgun.

The four took $1,500 in cash and a cell phone before fleeing the scene.

Police say Lisenby followed the intruders outside and one of them hit him in the face with a handgun.

Lisenby was treated at the scene for a laceration to his face.
