Harlem Globetrotter Brings Smiles To Madonna Patients

Boys and girls at Madonna Rehabilitation Hospital in Omaha were all smiles Tuesday morning as Harlem Globetrotter Wun "The Shot" Versher stopped by to perform some ball tricks and share some laughs.

Versher dazzled the youngsters with his ball handling skills and spun the ball on their fingertips. Kelly Lytle says the visit was a welcome break from her son's daily treatments.

"They do everything they can to make it not as sad an experience as it could be being in the hospital for a long time.  This is just another example of the fun things they (Madonna) do for kids."

Versher's appearance made a lasting impact on Kate Probasco, who is receiving treatment at Madonna. "It was really cool, and I definitely will remember this day."

The Harlem Globetrotters will perform at CenturyLink Center in Omaha on April 9
