An Omaha teen who was hit by a car while walking near 13th and Phelps has died.
Omaha Police say nineteen year old Dylan McConeghey died Sunday morning from his injuries.
McConeghey was hit by a car Thursday night while crossing 13th Street just before 11:00. The teen was not walking in a marked crosswalk.
He was transported to Nebraska Medicine with life threatening head injuries at the time of the accident.
The accident shut down 13th Street between B and C Streets until 1:30 Friday morning.
The driver of the car was not injured in the crash.
The crash still remains under investigation.
