A family of four has been displaced after a fire ripped through their home near 114th and Leavenworth Thursday afternoon.
Investigators say an unattended grill left on the deck sparked the fire that quickly spread up the back of the house and into the kitchen.
Crews were able to extinguish the fire before it spread further into the house.
Two adults and two children were home at the time, but were able to get out of the house safely.
The Red Cross was on hand to assist the displaced family.
