Man Injured In Robbery Gone Wrong Dies

Omaha Police said Wednesday that an Omaha man shot at a convenience store two weeks ago has died from his injuries. 

They say 25 year old Laron Rogers was shot at the Ames Avenue Convenience Store near 41st and Ames just before 8:00 PM on March 6th. 

Authorities say the suspects were attempting to rob the convenience store when Rogers was shot. 

At the time, Rogers was transported to CHI Creighton University Medical Center in critical condition for treatment of his wounds.  

Police are now investigating this case as a homicide. 

They are looking for suspects involved in the shooting. The suspects were seen in a white Chevy Impala with no plates.
