It was a successful DUI Enforcement operation for The Omaha Police Department during the St. Patrick's Day holiday.
They say the enhanced effort operated from Friday, March 10th to Saturday, March 18th and yielded the following results:
- Driving Under the Influence: 35
- First Offense: 25
- Second Offense: 8
- Felony Offense: 2
- Speeding: 264
- Minor in Possession of Alcohol: 4
- Registration/Insurance Violations: 72
- Moving Violations: 66
- Seat Belt Violations: 17
- Careless Driving/Negligent Driving: 11
- Driving During Suspension: 10
- Open container: 1
- Possession of Marijuana Less Than One Ounce: 5
- Possession Drug Equipment: 5
- Warrants Cleared by Arrest: 2
