Hundreds filled the Elkhorn South High School auditorium Friday morning to voice their concerns to Senator Ben Sasse on a wide range of topics.
Nebraska citizens joined together over topics currently causing a great divide in the United States.
The crowd lined up early in the hopes of asking Sasse about issues they face everyday.
Many asking questions about Planned Parenthood, President Trump's budget proposal, Attorney General Jeff Sessions ties with Russia and what will happen to public schools under Betsy DeVos.
One of the biggest issues brought before Sasse was that of healthcare reform, to which Sasse said, "American health care is terribly broken and has been for a long time."
Many in the crowd called Sasse out on some of his answers, especially when he was asked for a yes or no answer and would curb the questions.
Overall there was still a divide in the crowd with some being pleased with the responses they received from Sasse and some left feeling their questions had not been properly addressed.
