Omaha Police say it appears two coffee shop robberies this week are related. Around 8:30 Thursday morning employees of the Scooters near 132nd and West Center Road say they heard a knock at the back door.
An employee opened the door and the suspect pulled the door open and pointed a gun at the employee. The thief took money from the cash drawers and property from the two employees. He then got into the passenger side of a dark colored vehicle, which fled the area.
Investigators believe this robbery is related to the one at Crane Coffee near 84th and Hascall around 6:10 Wednesday morning.
The gunman is described as a possibly Hispanic man, in his late 30's with a dark mustache wearing a black hoodie and black pants.
