Officials with the Omaha based Gordman's stores announced Monday they have filed chapter 11 bankruptcy.
The retailer has made arrangements for a liquidation sale of their inventory and other assets from their retail stores and distribution centers.
Gordman's President and CEO Andy Hall says at this time, the company will run as usual. "Until further notice, all Gordman's stores are operating as usual without interruption."
Gordman's operates 100 stores in 22 states, including six in the metro area, one in Lincoln and one in Fremont.
