Anthony Garcia Makes Silent Court Appearance

Not much progress in court Monday morning for a convicted killer.

Anthony Garcia finally appeared in court almost a week after refusing to appear at the procedural hearing on March 7th.

The killer sat in silence during his appearance, and refused to answer any questions from Judge Gary B. Randall.

Because of his behavior, Randall ordered Garcia to be sent to the regional center for further evaluation.

Garcia's attorney says he questions Garcia's competency since he is refusing to speak with his defense team.

Garcia was found guilty by a jury last year. He will appear before a three judge panel to determine if he will receive the death penalty.
