Alamo Drafthouse Offers Free Movies For Teachers

If you are a teacher in the Omaha metro area, and are wondering how to spend your days off, then here's some good news for you.

The Alamo Drafthouse cinema is offering free movies for teachers March 13th-24th for showings Monday-Thursday before 6 PM. All movies in that time frame are eligible except for special attractions.

Alamo Drafthouse's Creative Manager Derek Dillon says they wanted a way to show their appreciation for educators. "Being a teacher is kind of a thankless job, so we want to kind of ya know show our appreciation for the work that they do by offering them a chance to see a free movie."

Dillon says all you will need to do is show a school ID or certificate in order to get your free movie ticket.

He also adds that if you're a teacher whose Spring Break is at a different time, not to worry. They will still offer the deal during April for those teachers who have their time off after the advertised dates.

The offer is good for one ticket per day, per person.

The Alamo Drafthouse is located at 12750 Westport Parkway, off of I-80 near Cabela's.
