Marijuana Bust Made In Lincoln

Two Minnesota men are in jail after a traffic stop revealed hundreds of pounds of marijuana and cash.

The Lancaster County Sheriff's Department says they pulled a conversion van over near NW 49th and West O Street in Lincoln after the van made several traffic violations.

When the deputy approached the van, he could smell the distinct odor of marijuana coming from the car.

Deputies searched the van and found 280 pounds of marijuana and over $60,000 in cash hidden throughout the van. The marijuana has a street value of about $900,000.

The driver, 58 year old Mao Vang, and his passenger, 54 year old Tseng Yang, were both arrested for possession of a controlled substance with intent to deliver.
