Woman Killed In West Omaha Crash

Omaha Police say one person was killed in a two vehicle crash at 168th and West Maple Road early Wednesday morning.

Sergeant Jason Menning tells NewsRadio 1110 KFAB an eastbound mini-van ran a red light and collided with a southbound pickup truck around 5:15.  The truck went off the road and into a ditch.

The woman driving the van, 69 year old Linda DeBolt, was rushed to the hospital with CPR in progress and later died.  The pickup driver, Thomas Falcone, was not hurt.

Menning says it's possible DeBolt suffered a medical condition prior to the crash.

The intersection was closed for several hours while police conducted their investigation.
