Former Creighton basketball player Maurice Watson waived his preliminary hearing Wednesday afternoon.
The 23 year old is accused of sexually assaulting a woman at a home on February 4th.
Prosecutors say a key piece of evidence against Watson is a pair of the woman's blood-soaked underwear, that they say backs up her story.
A judge ruled that there is enough evidence, so the case will now go to trial.
Watson is out of jail, but has been ordered to stay within ten miles of Douglas County. His lawyers had previously posed the idea of letting him return to Philadelphia to continue rehabilitating his knee injury.
