One woman is in the hospital after a fire consumed her home Friday night.
Authorities say the fire started just after 8:00 near 16th and B.
A neighbor said he saw the flames shooting from the woman's house and called 911.
Fire fighters found heavy smoke and flames in the home when they arrived.
Investigators say firefighters found the woman in a hallway and got her out of the burning house.
The woman remains in critical condition at Nebraska Medicine.
Authorities say the home is a total loss and that the cause is under investigation.
