A weekend traffic stop on I-80 in Lancaster County landed a California man in jail on drug charges.
Authorities say around 5:30 Sunday evening sheriff's deputies stopped an eastbound semi-trailer truck for numerous traffic violations on I 80 near mile marker 396 .
During the stop, a sheriff's canine detected the odor of narcotics coming from the truck. Deputies searched the truck and discovered approximately 55 pounds of cocaine with a street value of $750-thousand.
The driver, 56 year old Gustavo Zamora of San Gabriel, California, was arrested for possession of cocaine with intent to deliver and was taken to the Lancaster County Jail.
