Two Critically Injured In Millard Crash

Omaha Police say two people were critically injured in a horrific crash at 138th and Millard Avenue Wednesday afternoon.

Sergeant Chuck Casey tells NewsRadio 1110 KFAB that a green 1985 Ford Mustang was northbound on Millard Avenue from "S" Street at an extremely high rate of speed just after 4:00. 

The Mustang continued past "Q" Street and slammed full force into a white 2017 Chevrolet Traverse that was making a left turn from westbound Millard Avenue onto southbound 138th Street.  

The impact destroyed the Mustang and caused significant damage to the van. Both drivers had to be extricated from the wrerckage by Omaha Firefighters.  

The driver of the Mustang, 24 year old Cory Vohs of Omaha, suffered head injuries, internal bleeding, broken ribs and a broken pelvis, leg and ankle.

The driver of the van, 54 year old Nancy Brickley of Omaha, is being treated for a broken leg and ankle head injuries.  Both drivers were taken to Nebraska Medicine in critical condition.  

 This crash remains under investigation.
