A man accused of killing a man inside his Millard home in late December was ordered held without bond Tuesday afternoon.
29 year old LeAndre Jennings was arrested for 1st Degree Murder, Use of a Weapon to Commit a Felony, and Possession of a Weapon by a Prohibited Person. Police are still searching for a second man in the shooting death of 50 year old Michael Brinkman.
Brinkman was shot and killed inside his home near 181st and Q on December 23rd. Prosecutors say Brinkman's house was broken into while they were home and during the course of the robbery a struggled ensued.
Brinkman was shot and later died at the hospital. During the struggle, two items fell on the floor and police were able to collect DNA that pointed them to Jennings.
A second suspect is still on the run.
