A man is in the hospital after his truck was found crashed into a creek embankment Monday morning.
The Saunders County Sheriff's Department say a passerby saw the truck lodged in the embankment just after 9:00 near Highway 79 and Ashland Road.
The man was found semi-conscious, face down outside of his truck with the lower half of his body in the water.
Authorities say they believe the man was driving to work overnight when his truck veered off the road and into the embankment.
The driver was taken to a Lincoln Hospital. His condition and name are not known at this time.
